Vacations are a way to get away from stress and go somewhere where you can forget all about your problems. A dictionary description of a vacation is a period of suspension of work, study, or other activity, usually used for rest, recreation, or travel. If you have any hard times at work, at home, or at school or anywhere all that is needed is a break, a vacation. It can be a long one or a short, it's really up to you. I once was not doing very well in school, there was this period that i just did not feel like doing anything, my mom and dad suggested a break, a little vacation to get my thoughts from school. It really worked out for me. When i returned from little break I was calmed and i was relaxed. I was there for a week. I just felt so good. Being so far away from anything that's bothering you, i felt like a new person with a new reason. Vacations are wonderful things that are so helpful or just a fun vacation to get out there and party!!

A way to refresh your mind is a long sweet vacation. A simple one or a long one. A vacation is a great time to spend with your family and to spend it with friends. And if your lucky maybe to meet someone special or someone that could be your long time friend. So many places in the world that can take your mind of things. Vacations are the best, spend time with your family, get away from your problems, get away from the world. Get away from anything. I know what your thinking, you can't get away from your problems, well I'm not saying you should but maybe you need sometime to really think and put everything together to finally see whats wrong.

Vacations aren't just about fun. There is money involved in vacation. And now during these times I know it's difficult to afford anything expense. Vacations, you need to pay for the food, for the hotel, for the things you do, and for gas if you take a car. Vacations are expense but they turn out to be totally worth it.

A vacation is not just a time for stress. A vacation could also mean visiting your relatives. My relatives are all the way in Peru, Lima so when I go visit them they really enjoy my company and i enjoy theirs. They take me pretty much anywhere i want and then we end it with a big meal  before I leave. It's awesome and i love it.Vacations are just the best things ever.

Vacations are an outstanding way to get some rest and relaxation, which is why they are a common activity for families to take part in.  Picture this - June is here, and it is the end of a grueling, ten-month long school year.  Your family has a vacation planned as soon at the year is finally over.  Can you imagine how great that feels?

Another positive factor to vacations is that they give you an opportunity to explore new places in your country or around the world.  There are countless locations that can provide the perfect vacation for all kinds of different people. Oceans and lakes are frequent vacation destinations.  Houses on the waterfront are available for rental - they provide great views and an opportunity to engage in activities like boating, swimming, kayaking, and fishing.  Ski resorts are popular during the winter months, and many of them are located in quaint mountain villages that are picturesque and memorable. Some families also travel to large cities, where there are an abundance of things to do. Trips to museums, parks, and sporting events are just the tip of the iceberg as to what you can do in a large city.

I have a great example of an enjoyable vacation.  Two years ago, my family drove to Saranac Lake, a small town in the Adirondack Mountains of New York.  We rented a house on a small lake, Lake Flower, as well as a motorboat.  We spent our time out on the chain of lakes in the area, cruising around in the boat and water-tubing.  When I wasn't out on the lakes, I took advantage of a hammock located under some trees and lied there while reading some good books.  It was the perfect balance of adrenaline and relaxation.

Some families have a traditional vacation spot that they may go to from time to time.  For example, my uncle used to own a house in the Green Mountains of Vermont.  For a few weeks in the summer and winter, our family would travel there to spend time with each other. During the summer we'd go fishing and boating, and in the winter we'd spend the day snowmobiling.  Even though we knew what to expect each time we went there, the activities we engaged in were always fun and enjoyable.

Vacations are not a cheap activity, and they are not something a family can take part in frequently; however, the memories are priceless and the fun and excitement of a vacation is fantastic.
